About the Journal

Aims of IJEES

The International Journal of Electrical Engineering and Sustainability (IJEES) (Online ISSN: 2959-9229), published by the Libyan Center for Sustainable Development Research (Al-Khums, Libya), is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal devoted to the dissemination of rigorous scholarship at the intersection of electrical engineering and sustainability. The journal publishes review articles, full-length original research papers, and short communications, encompassing both theoretical and experimental contributions across the breadth of the field. IJEES is issued on a semi-annual publication schedule, with two regular issues released each year.

IJEES is committed to promoting transparent and reproducible research. Accordingly, the journal allows authors to present their findings with the level of detail necessary to support verification and replication, and it does not impose arbitrary constraints on manuscript length. Authors are encouraged to provide comprehensive methodological descriptions, complete experimental protocols, and sufficient analytical detail to enable independent reproduction of reported results.

In addition, IJEES emphasizes the following:

  • Innovative research proposals and original conceptual contributions are particularly encouraged, including emerging ideas and forward-looking research directions.

  • Authors may submit supplementary materials, including electronic files, datasets, software tools, detailed computational workflows, and source code, to document calculations and experimental procedures and to strengthen the transparency, utility, and reusability of the published work.

Scope of IJEES

IJEES is fundamental for the development of our society, and the electricity supply is a crucial part of the future for sustainable and clean energy. It is a prerequisite for social, industrial, and commercial development, and therefore, any electrical engineering that enhances it will cause a tremendous positive impact. It is widely used for providing systems, methods, algorithms and applications in electrical engineering, computer engineering, systems engineering, power engineering, telecommunications engineering, radio-frequency engineering, signal processing, instrumentation, optics, and photonics. electronics engineering, control and optimization, energy engineering, fuel technology, renewable energy, sustainability, and the environment.
