The International Journal of Electrical Engineering and Sustainability (IJEES) (ISSN: 2959-9229), published by the Libyan Center for Sustainable Development Research in Al-Khums, Libya, is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal committed to the dissemination of high-quality scientific research in electrical engineering and sustainability. In 2026, the journal achieved a Q1 classification in the Libyan Electronic Journal Directory (DOLJ), reflecting its adherence to recognized standards of academic quality, editorial rigor, and research impact. IJEES publishes both comprehensive review articles and full-length original research papers, encompassing theoretical, methodological, computational, and experimental contributions across diverse areas of electrical engineering, electronic engineering, communication, computer science, renewable energy, sustainable technologies, and related interdisciplinary fields. IJEES follows a biannual publication model, issuing two regular editions each year.
IJEES is committed to promoting transparent and reproducible research. Accordingly, the journal allows authors to present their findings with the level of detail necessary to support verification and replication, and it does not impose arbitrary constraints on manuscript length. Authors are encouraged to provide comprehensive methodological descriptions, complete experimental protocols, and sufficient analytical detail to enable independent reproduction of reported results.
